College fundraiser ideas for student club?
I’m part of a international student club at a community college, and we were looking at options to do a fundraiser in benefit of a local organization that feeds the homeless.
Any original ideas?
We have done bake sales, and car washes. The provost suggested creating a cookbook with recipes of all the countries that represent our club. What do you think?
We are also organizing a conference with a host speaker, maybe sell raffle tickets during the event?

did you try dishcares.com every dish network activation someone gets, $60 gets donated to your charity. it worked for my church. visit the site, or contact robert, the representative, for details at dishdonates@yahoo.com if over 20 activations for your charity ($1,200) they will donate an extra $300. better yet if you get a big campaign going for a particular month, if 100 activations, ($6,000) they will add $4,000 for a total of $10,000!!! that is nearly doubling the contribution. give them a call, again they helped our church and are for real!

Try giftwrapping, it’s a great one to do this time of year! Go to a local retailer or mall and ask if you can set up a table to giftwrap customers’ purchases in exchange for donations. Retailers usually love to be able to offer the service.
Good luck!
