Raising Money for Small Business?

I am looking for ways to raise money to cover start up costs for a new business. Some ideas that I already have are: car washes, parties, raffles and just old fashion donation lol! Any ideas on how I can raise money with little to NO money invested?

Depends on the nature of the business.

You could start a shoestring style startup, you start at home and small and work your wayup.

    There are other ways.

Loans are useful, you can put your home on the line.

But often loans are needed to cover certain expenses, eg buying stock for a shop. In that case you can finance that with a loan, because the stock is an asset.

Many business have expenses that can’t be covered easily a loan because of lack of collateral.

One way is to get investment, friends, family, or go to a venture capital company. You can even approach companies that might like to work with you.

Sure your personal profits will be lower, but no money, no business.
