STMA hoops, food shelf fund-raiser FEB. 22 – The St. Michael-Albertville Boys Basketball Association is hosting a fund-raiser for the Hanover Food Shelf Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 7:30 p.m. during the STMA/Buffalo game. Participants can pay $ 1 to shoot 3-pointers during halftime and win a prize. All proceeds benefit the Hanover Food Shelf.

I’m looking for unique, easy fundraising ideas for the Gay/Straight Alliance (GSA) at my college. I’d like ideas other than bake sales, car washes, auctions, raffles, and selling candles. Ideas can also include games/activities to play.

I volunteer for a cancer society that helps people train to run marathons. In return each participant has to raise between $2,200 – $2,700 depending on where the race is located. The society has a website for individuals to set up, but that is sometimes not enough. I am looking for easy ideas we can do as a team. We have done the raffle, the candy sale, etc. This group is filled with working professionals so things like a car wash wouldn’t go over really well with them.

Any ideas?

I am the President of a High School Volleyball Booster Club. Sad to say, there is not much parent involvement. Please provide fundraising suggestions for the couple parents which are willing to work along with the athletes. This is the first year we are getting organized to support the athletes. Last year, two parents did everything to financially support the team. We will be doing car washes, candy sales, a gas raffle, and a community garage sale. Does anyone have any big money suggestions? We need to raise close to $10,000 annually. This team competes at the State level.

My club is called Make A Wish. Its a club that helps children with life threatening medical conditions and we make their wishes come tru! I need awesome fundraising ideas!
