The Miracle of the Massage Chair
“Oh my god! It’s unbelievable that I have no more back pains anymore. This chair truly makes miracles!” This reminds me of the day that I was purchased by my master, George Tillman, which he had suffered from severe back pains all his life. He had spent thousands of dollars on medicine that was suppose to cure his intense pains. But none of those medicines made him feel relaxed. Unexpectedly, he found the perfect piece of furniture at “Larry’s Furniture Galore”, which what he found in this store changed his life completely. This is where he found me, Tasha the electric massage chair, and this is how the whole story occurred.
On July 1, 2006, I finally arrived to “Larry’s Furniture Galore” in Tampa Bay, Florida, which I was part of the new furniture that was going to be displayed. On my way to the store, I heard the driver say that I was going to be the only electric massage chair available for purchase in the entire city. He also explained that the store was going to have a meeting for the customers. The manager of the facility wanted everyone to know about my arriving and that I was a miracle chair that cured intense back pains of any type of severity. Hurriedly, after my arrival, the manager advertised me in the newspaper and before I was even put on display, the store was packed with curious customers that wanted to know more about my functions. When the employees explained details about me to the customers, their facial gestures displayed amusement. They were surprised that I had the power to cure people. One of the employees explained to them that only one lucky person was going to be able to buy me, since they were only allowed to sell one chair in the entire city. They explained that they were going to do a raffle, in which one lucky person was going to have the opportunity to take me home. After the customers heard the announcement, they were like predators ready to catch their prey when arguing about who was going to buy me. Out of all the customers that were preset, one man really caught my attention, his name was George Tillman. When the employee told him that if he wanted a raffle ticket he said, “I don’ t think that the electric chair is so great like you guys explained. But sure why not. Maybe this chair will make my terrible back pains go away? You never know.” After the employees were completely finished passing out the raffle tickets, they explained to the customers that they were going to have a thirty minute break before they announced the wining ticket.
While the customers were waiting for the announcement of the wining ticket, I smelled the people eating chips, cookies and all types of snacks. Everyone was nervous and anxious about which lucky person was going to have the winning ticket. One of the employees explained, “Everyone be ready to have your ticket out because we are going to announce the number of the winning ticket. Everyone pay close attention. The winning ticket is 1025634”. At that moment I saw people talking loudly and saw them looking at their raffle tickets to see if they were the winners. Nobody seemed to have that number until one man named George happily screamed, “I won the chair. I’m the only person that can purchase this chair, because they only have one in the entire city. Wow I’m so surprised!” That instant I felt important and interesting because everyone wanted to buy me. The customers that didn’t have the winning ticket expressed disappointment in their face. I was as excited as a dolphin swimming in the water. Inside of me I was cheering with joy, because now I was going to have a home. Now I had an owner and a mission to accomplish. I couldn’t let him down specially if he needed my help so much.
Happily the man placed me into his pickup truck and he drove home. When we arrived to his home, the old man let me out of the box and placed me into his living room. The house was big and spacious. The living room was colorful and full of family pictures. I really liked this house because it made me feel like home, which I had never had before since I was a brand new electric chair just opened from the box. This house made feel just right.
After placing me in the living room the old man said, “Even though I was the lucky winner, I still have doubts about you. I can’t believe that you can cure back pains, that’s impossible. I have been taking medicine for years and nothing has worked. If medicine can’t cure me, then how can I be so confident that you will. But until I don’t see any results, I cannot comment. Now, I will try you to see if you make miracles like they say.” George’s words made me feel in a way depressed, because he had never tried me and he was already doubting about me. That instant I knew that I couldn’t let myself down.
Mr. Tillman came back and sat down. I began with my mission, which was to give him a good massage so his horrible back pains could go away instantly. I gave him a massage for and hour

My Company Wants To Offer A Vacation In A Raffle With Open Dates. Can’t Find Anything. Please Help.?

Saturday, December 5th, 2009

I work for a mortgage company and we want to set up at a boat show. If you've been to a conventoin, booths that offer giveaways get the attention. I have been searching for a vacation package that we can offer in a grand prize drawing, but I haven't found one that isn't date sensitive. I know that it is possible because I've seen the packages offered as prizes at various shows that I have been to. I would love any information that any of you can provide so that I can offer a good package to the public.
