Car raffle to raise funds for slain officer’s family
A 2011 ZR1 Corvette will be raffled to raise money for the family of a Taylor police officer killed in the line of duty. Each ticket costs $ 100. Proceeds expected to reach $ 75,000 to $ 85,000 will be donated to the Matthew Edwards Trust Fund.

we have to club that proclaims the social justice issues in our society to my highschool..but the problem is we need some money to start up our next project, kiva. so pleasssee does anyone have ay ideas. please dont say bake sale, raffle, or car wash. these are highschool kids…and i would like something quick, fun, generate a large audience, and produce a lot of money! i dont wanna sound to demanding..its just our club just lost 200 dollars (long story)..and we need to gain that money back..to keep the club going!! lotsss of points wil be awarded, please help us out!

My group, for a college business course, has to raise money and help a local school put on a field day that is in three weeks. Today we found out that we need an additional three to four hundred dollars for supplies that we were not previously informed about.
Aside from a car wash, raffle, or bake sale, does anyone have an other suggestions for raising money in a such short period of time?

Thanks angelic but the school and the students are not helping us in any way. All fundraising must be done outside of the school (they do not even want us to send out fliers about a fundraising event).

im trying to raise money for world hunger, and lately i have been knocking on peoples doors asking for money, but this isnt working, i cant have a car wash or a bake sale or a raffle or anything big or expensive like that, i just need a quick easy way to get people to donate, does anyone have any ideas?

The thing is that i work in a big busy resort and need to incorporate my guests in the whole thing.I have already done romantic dinners and raffles as well as car washes,so is there anything else you can help me with?

If I am trying to raise funds for a charity and have a high priced item to raffle off, like a car or a Harley Davidson motorcycle, is it best to sell a lesser amount of higher priced tickets (say 500 at $100 each) or a greater amount of lesser priced tickets (say 1000 $50 tickets) ? Or is there a better alternative than either of these ? Thanks.

In May I’m going on a field trip to Niagara Falls with my Earth Science Class. I want to know ideas to raise some money. I’m already planning on doing a raffle with candy in baskets and a car wash with one of my friends. I probably need to raise $1200 so it will pay for the trip and I will have some extra spending money. I can’t get a job so I wanted to get some new ideas. Thanks a bunch!
