My group, for a college business course, has to raise money and help a local school put on a field day that is in three weeks. Today we found out that we need an additional three to four hundred dollars for supplies that we were not previously informed about.
Aside from a car wash, raffle , or bake sale, does anyone have an other suggestions for raising money in a such short period of time?
Thanks!
Thanks angelic but the school and the students are not helping us in any way. All fundraising must be done outside of the school (they do not even want us to send out fliers about a fundraising event).

I am in my school’s dance committee and we need to raise about 1,000 – 1,200. Now the hard part is that like if we sale food we can’t let the principle or anyone like the office staff fine out because they would want our money. We need this money by May. The Ideas we got so far are :
– Raffle
– Car Wash
– Selling Snacks
– Selling Candy grams for Valentine Day
That is all we have gotten, we really need help because this is going to be our last dance and we really want to make it special.
And by the way we need a dance theme, last slow dance song, and 3 color that looks really nice for the theme.
I hope you can help me and my fellow classmate make the class of 09′ something special. Thank you.
- Christine

Right now, we are not able to sell anything that is not “nutritious”(ie candy) at school to fundraise money. We get around it by selling slightle less nutritious junk but its still doesn’t manage to bring in the same amount of money that we used to. We’re trying to raise money for college scholarships for our members and we’re looking for new ideas to fundraise.
We can’t really do a car wash since our club is extremely small(about 15 really). We’re setting up events at local restaurants by promoting the place and in return gettina percentage of the profits made on the day advertised. However, if anyone has any other ideas that would be good, they’d be greatly appreciated.
I’ve noticed also thus far that no one ever likes buying from catalogues at our school. And right now we’re considering raffling off something like and iPod or something. Anyone tried anything that worked well at your school? Something different? Brought in money?
Thanks in advance.

I coach a girls’ soccer team. We are still a new program (starting our 5th year). Due to buying goals, preparing a field, and buying other essentials, we are in debt by a good bit. We do fundraisers, but none that bring in a whole lot of money (we do raffles, pancakes breakfasts, car washes, etc). Any ideas on some fundraisers we could do? Thanks.
