How should I handle this? I belong to a car club and for the last 2 years I put on the Christmas party.?

I do alot to bring this to the success that it has been. Making table centerpieces and individual gifts at each place for 40 people. Getting the hall setting up the menu… calling and getting prizes for a Chinese raffle and picking up the donations and sticking to a very low budget and spending $40 dollars of my own money. Bringing music… blah blah… after the party was over the restruant left the left over food in a box on the table and a women went over to the table and took all of the food.. I am so mad after all the work I feel I should at least had some say in where it went…

i won a new car, i entered in a raffle and won! now she is pissed and says that the kids need a new car and she cant afford one

what do you think! i pay my support and i have never been late! i see my kids 5 days a week taking them to and from school, i do their homework with them everyday

so im in my kids life’s!

i just don’t see why i need to do this?

Should I still buy a car for my girlfriend who broke up with me? I’m not sure that we’re still on good terms.

I was planning on buying my girlfriend a car to replace her junker, and out of the blue, she breaks up with me. She can’t afford another vehicle on her own and we live 30 miles apart. I just won $500 in a raffle and received a check in the mail from an investment- which I had planned to surprise her with this coming week when we saw each other again. I’m in the process of trying to get things ready so I can start looking to buy a house, and that’s going to take a little time and money. We live 30 miles apart and it doesn’t look like there’s much chance of us getting together again (her choice) or even coming across each other in a store. I don’t owe her anything and she doesn’t owe me anything. What should I do?

Should I buy 2 tickets to one raffle, or 1 ticket each for 2 different raffles to have better chance to win?

Hi, I’ve found some answers while searching the internet to this question, but they’ve been too mathematical or not exactly related to this specific question.

I have the opportunity to buy tickets in 2 different raffles for a car I’d love to have. The tickets are expensive, so I want to only buy 2 tickets.

The raffles each will only sell a maximum of 1,000 tickets. Both still have tickets for sale, but I don’t know how many they have sold – just less than 1,000.

Because of the time frame, both raffles will probably not meet their goal of 1,000 tickets sold – so each raffle will likely have different amounts of tickets sold. Example: 1 raffle sold 893 tickets, the other 980 tickets – so different odds.

Would I have a better chance of winning one of these raffles if I either 1) bought 1 ticket to each; or 2) bought 2 tickets for one.

I only want to buy 2 tickets total.

Thanks to you math heads out there – please make it simple – at least your conclusion.

Sadly, my wife’s father has died at a rather inconvenient time. I say this because in late November, some chums from the Raffles Club and I like to go on a boating expedition for a couple of weeks. We have a rip-roariously good time with gin, pork and ludicrous wagers.
Now this damned funeral. Would I be wrong in not attending? I want to go and have merriment on a boat, not sit there pretending to be mournful, for pity’s sake. How can I get out of it?

How can I get out of it and spend my time without guilt, lolling around a boat, drinking gin and generally having a damn good wheeze?

During my last relationship, me and my ex entered this raffle to win a romance river boat dinner. The raffle tickets were $10 each and he brought three tickets. I only brought one because I never have luck at winning those type of things and because he really wanted to go. Well, we ended up breaking up and a week after, I was announced the winner and was presented with the gift card for $150 for a romance dinner for two. December will make a year since I’ve had this darn thing and I had hoped by now to have met someone to go on it with. This morning I decided that I would give it to one of my friends, but when I called the place they inform me that the gift card was good for three years. Should I keep it or just give it away? Ever time I look it, it remains me that I’m single, lonely and of my ex. HELP!!!

Fiance’ owns his own DJ company and we do parties together. (He used to work in a bar- I never went there.) In the past, he has said things to a big busted woman coming up to the DJ booth- hey beautiful what can I play for YOU? Which I thought was inappropriate- plus I was standing right next to him- and he had no idea why I was less than happy. He mostly acts flirty- and swears it is for “the job.”
He is very jealous of me- and asks what guys want- if he sees- that come up to the booth. He also has had issues- 2 yrs ago- with infidelity.
Well- I am 3 mos pregnant- and we did a party the other night. He is typically touchy feely with the women and belly up at the bar- while I am at the DJ booth all night. He is chatting it up with people- and talking it up on the microphone. (Most of the time I don’t even know where he is- this is typical.) At one point- he says on the mic- “I have my eyes on you ladies.” Then after this young woman won the 50/50 raffle he says “oh- you’re coming home with the DJ tonight.”
He was telling em today how awesome the party went. And I mentioned it to him that I really feel he acts like a single person and I would never treat him like that. He denied it- I don’t even think he remembers- because he drank so much and I drove the truck home. His teenage son was also there. Anyhow- I told him I did not make it up- and was hoping he would apologize. NOT.
Would this tick you off or am I hormonal? Thanks.
