I was planning on buying my girlfriend a car to replace her junker, and out of the blue, she breaks up with me. She can’t afford another vehicle on her own and we live 30 miles apart. I just won $500 in a raffle
and received a check in the mail from an investment- which I had planned to surprise her with this coming week when we saw each other again. I’m in the process of trying to get things ready so I can start looking to buy a house, and that’s going to take a little time and money. We live 30 miles apart and it doesn’t look like there’s much chance of us getting together again (her choice) or even coming across each other in a store. I don’t owe her anything and she doesn’t owe me anything. What should I do?
